Job Description: This position will be focused on general pediatric surgical pathology including solid tumors, GI pathology , hematopathology, neuropathology, cytopathology, and the clinical laboratory. Autopsies are outsourced to a regional forensic center. Excellent interpersonal skills will be put to use in consultation with the clinical staff and teaching of pathology residents from the University of Tennessee Knoxville Medical Center Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in pediatric pathology and eligible for Tennessee state licensure Community: An area rich in rewards nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Knoxville is a vibrant, multicultural college town with a population of near 500,000 in the county.
